About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic QA Intern to join our team. This internship is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates who want to build hands-on experience in software quality assurance, manual testing, and the software development lifecycle. You will work closely with developers and product teams to ensure our applications meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual testing for web and mobile applications.
- Create, update, and maintain test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
- Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools.
- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing.
- Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve defects.
- Perform functional, usability, and cross-browser testing.
- Validate application features against business and technical requirements.
- Assist in preparing QA reports and testing documentation.
- Participate in team meetings, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Software Testing and QA concepts.
- Knowledge of SDLC and STLC.
- Familiarity with manual testing techniques.
- Understanding of bug life cycle and defect reporting.
- Basic knowledge of SQL is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work collaboratively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello, or similar is a plus.
- Exposure to API testing using Postman is an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of automation testing concepts (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.) is a plus but not required.
